01Agents
Your agent can work the round.
Raisebook has an MCP server with 21 tools. Connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client with a key from your workspace, then ask for what you would ask a good associate: log the call, move the stage, set the follow-up, tell me who is overdue.
It logs what happened. Emails, calls, meetings and notes land on the investor's timeline, with the date you give it.
It sets the next follow-up. Tomorrow morning, the founder's list of who to chase is already right.
You see every action, in orchid, on the timeline. Each write carries the agent's name and model. Nothing it does is invisible.

Board, table, and a file on every investor.
The round sits on one page. A ledger strip says how much is committed against the target and who needs a follow-up today. Below it, the pipeline: as a board or as a table.

03Also in the box
Triage, meetings, research, and your phone.
Everything a raise needs between the first email and the wire, and nothing behind a paywall.
Triage
New investors one at a time: decide with the number keys, undo a slip, and give each a fit score so the best rise to the top.
Meetings
Schedule from the investor's file and they move to Meeting. Today shows the day's meetings; afterwards, record the outcome and the next step.
Your calendar
Download any meeting as .ics, or subscribe from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook with a private feed URL.
Investor research
A short, cited dossier per investor: recent deals, thesis, a way in, an opener, a risk. On your own OpenRouter key, only when you ask.
On your phone
The pipeline, the board and Triage have a phone layout with touch-sized controls, for the walk between meetings.
Your team
Invite a co-founder as an editor and an advisor as a viewer. Sign in with an emailed link or with Google.
04Import
Bring the spreadsheet you already have.
Export your sheet as CSV and drop it in. Raisebook reads the usual headers on its own (Name, Fund, E-mail, Cheque size, Met at, Status) and lets you fix the rest by hand.
Dedupes by email, LinkedIn and name + firm. Preview before anything is written.

05Privacy
The privacy promise.
Fundraising CRMs are often paid for with your data: the investor list you build becomes their database. Raisebook makes six promises instead, and the code is public so you can hold us to them.
- 01
Your data is yours. A workspace is visible only to its members and to the API keys its owners create.
- 02
We never pool, sell, rent or mine it. Raisebook never builds an investor database from your data and never shows one workspace's data to another.
- 03
No ads, no trackers. No analytics scripts, pixels or third-party cookies. Fonts are served by Raisebook.
- 04
No AI on your data unless you bring it. Raisebook never runs or pays for AI on its own. Investor research runs only when you press a button, on your own OpenRouter key, and sends only the investor's name, firm and links, your company profile and round terms. Agents you connect use your key, and every action they take is on the timeline.
- 05
Leave any time. Export everything as CSV and JSON. Delete your workspace or account permanently, effective immediately.
- 06
Check our work. Raisebook is open source under AGPL-3.0, including the code that handles your data.
06Free forever
Free forever. Here's how.
Raisebook has no investors to answer to and no paid plan to grow into. It started as one founder's tool for his own raise, and it is open because every alternative charged per seat or wanted the investor list in return.
The code is AGPL-3.0, so anyone who runs a modified copy as a service has to publish their changes: a hosted fork cannot quietly turn into a closed, paid product. The running costs are kept small, and the maintainer pays them today. Donations, once they open, will pay for hosting and nothing else. They will never buy features, priority or a different deal on your data.

09Questions
Questions founders ask.
What is Raisebook?
Raisebook is a free, open-source investor CRM for startup founders. It tracks every investor through every round (stages, follow-ups, meetings, notes and commitments) and has an MCP server so your coding agent can work the pipeline with you.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no paid tier, no seat price and no feature behind a paywall. The limits are the same for everyone. Donations, if you choose to give, change nothing about what you get. Pricing.
Then how does it pay for itself?
The costs are small: a server, a database and the email that delivers sign-in links. The maintainer pays them today, and donations will cover them once they open. And because the code is open, you can always run your own copy.
Can Raisebook see my investor list?
Your workspace is stored on Raisebook's servers, so the people who run them could technically read it, as with any hosted app. Raisebook never uses it: there is no investor database, no feature that reads across workspaces, and no analytics. You can check that in the code. If you want the data on your own machine, self-host it. Self-hosting.
Which agents can connect?
Any MCP client that speaks streamable HTTP and can send an API key header. Claude Code, Codex and Cursor have ready snippets; clients that only start local servers, such as Claude Desktop, connect through mcp-remote. Web-only connectors (claude.ai and ChatGPT connectors) need OAuth, which Raisebook does not offer yet. MCP setup.
Do I need an agent to use it?
No. The board, the table and the investor files work on their own. The agent is there for the moments when typing "log that call and remind me Friday" is faster than clicking.
What can an agent change? Can it delete things?
With a write key it can add investors, move stages, log activity, set follow-ups, schedule meetings and record commitments. Over MCP it cannot delete anything, create keys or invite people. A read-only key can only look. Every write shows on the timeline under the agent's name.
Does it handle investor meetings?
Yes. Schedule a meeting from an investor's file and they move to the Meeting stage. Today's meetings show on Today and on board cards; afterwards you record the outcome and the next step. Each meeting has an .ics file, and a private feed URL puts all of them in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Meetings and the calendar feed.
Can it research investors for me?
Yes, when you start it (with a button in the app, or through your agent) and on your own OpenRouter key. Research writes a short dossier per investor (recent deals, thesis, a way in, an opener, a risk) where every fact cites a source. Raisebook never runs AI on its own, adds no markup, and caps spend with a monthly limit per workspace. Investor research.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The pipeline, the board and Triage have a phone layout with touch-sized controls.
Can I bring data from Airtable, Notion or Google Sheets?
Export it as CSV and import that. You map columns, see what will be created, updated or skipped, and only then write. CSV format.
Can my co-founder work in it too?
Invite them by email as an editor, or add an advisor as a viewer, up to 20 members. Each investor in a round can have an owner, so you know who is on which conversation. Sign in with an emailed link or with Google.
Will Raisebook ever email my investors?
No. It never contacts anyone on your behalf. The only emails it sends are sign-in links and workspace invites, to the people you enter.
How is it different from Foundersuite, Visible or Affinity?
Raisebook is free with no investor cap, open source and self-hostable, and has an MCP server on the free plan. It has no investor database, sends no investor updates and is built for founders, not VC firms. Comparisons.
What happens if I want to leave?
Export the workspace as JSON and each round as CSV, then delete the workspace. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and backups age out within 14 days. Export and delete.
